EGGER Barbara Jean Egger passed away Saturday July 2, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Barb was born in Kamloops BC on October 4, 1930. She was raised and lived in Pritchard BC until she started to work in Kamloops at the age of 17. While on the return road trip with a girlfriend and her friend’s father to Regina, Barb chose to stay in Calgary. While working at Crescent Lumber, she met her future husband.

SHEILA VINCENT EGGLI, beloved wife of Garry Eggli, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at the St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the age of 76 years. Besides her husband of 56 years, Garry, Sheila is survived by her children Ward (Sue) Eggli of Lethbridge and Mark (Charlene) Eggli of Sherwood Park, AB. as well as five grandchildren: Paige (William) Douglas, Chase Eggli, Danica Eggli, Katie Eggli and Ryley Eggli and three great-grandchildren: Alfred Douglas, Arthur Douglas and Archie Douglas.

MR. BRIAN JACOB EHNES, beloved husband of Mrs. Christine Ehnes, of Foremost, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 29, 2010 at the age of 52 years. Brian is survived by his loving wife Christine (nee Hranac), son Tyler and daughter Tennille Ehnes of Foremost, mother Thekla Ehnes of Lethbridge, mother-in-law Mary Hranac of Lethbridge, siblings; Richard (Kathy) Ehnes of Calgary, Deb Henderson of Lethbridge and Bernie (Kary) Ehnes of Etzikom, Jan and Tom Suley of Wainwright, sister-in-law Beverley (Darin Weinkauf) of Lethbridge, brother-in-law Rick Hranac of Coaldale, Gary (Rita) Hranac of Coaldale, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

MRS. EILEEN OLIVE DIETRICH, beloved wife of the late Lloyd Dietrich, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at St. Michael’s Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 82 years. She is lovingly remembered by her 8 children; Dale (Donna) of Lomond, Ted (Paula) of Vulcan, Judy (Darryl) of Lomond, Bob (Kathy) of Lomond, Alan (Judy) of Lomond, Larry (Sandy) of Lomond, David (Rachelle) of Lomond and Marianne and Kirk of Lethbridge, 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

EILEEN HANZEL, beloved wife of the late John Hanzel, passed away on July 24, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 27, 1927 in Nanton to parents Carl and Mabel Edlund. Upon completion of her secondary education in Fort Macleod she entered nurse’s training at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary. She started her nursing career at St. Michael’s in Lethbridge. Besides her beloved husband and her parents she was predeceased by her sister Florence.

EILEEN McCARTAN (Nee Thompson), beloved wife of John McCartan, of Coaldale, Alberta, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the age of 65 years. She is the loving mother of Jacqueline (Bill) Swann of Winnipeg; Pauline (Bill) Wong of Calgary; and mother-in-law of Mike Kawade of Lethbridge. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jessica; Cian; Zachary; Nikolas; Chloe; Naithen and Chayne. She was predeceased by her son John George McCartan; her daughter Diane Kawade; and her parents Robert and Margaret Thompson.

EILEEN LAVINIA WOODS, beloved wife of Alfred Edward Woods, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Tom, Valerie and Peter; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and her sister Doreen Richardson. She was predeceased by her parents and older brother Thomas. Eileen was born in London, England in 1926. She later married Canadian Soldier Alfred Woods and came to Taber as a War Bride.

EDDIE EK, beloved husband of Catherine (Kay) peacefully passed away on April 14th, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Eddie was born on March 29th, 1921 in Jamtland, Sweden to Englebrecht and Anna (Soderbon) Ek. Eddie came to Canada with his family in 1928 and settled in Calgary. He is survived by his sister Bertha, and is predeceased by his brothers Nils, Olie, and Eloff; and sisters Anna, Engla, Brita, Inga, Viola, Marie, and Maret and their spouses and families.

ELAINE JOANNE HOWE, beloved wife of Ray Howe, passed quietly into the presence of Jesus on May 11, 2013 at the age of 76 years at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit, Lethbridge, Alberta. Besides her beloved husband of 56 years, Elaine is survived by her son Greg (Fern) and daughter Leslie McCoy, granddaughter Amanda (Mitch) Lonnberg, grandsons Brett and Clay Howe, special friends Bret Seaton and Ellen Grundy, and great granddaughter Brier Lonnberg.

ELAINE YVONNE MUELLER (nee Oates) passed away quietly surrounded by her family at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, Palliative Care on Wednesday, August 22, 2007. She is survived by her loving husband and partner of 51 years Ed Mueller, daughters Sherry Mueller-Kerber and Lori Brown both of Lethbridge, grandchildren; Tia (Steve) Mueller, Brandi Kerber, Michael Brown and Tony Brown, sisters Margaret Bodell and Brenda Burke and brothers Don and Gerry (Michelle) Oates.
