Duhamel, Lynden Maurice

LYNDEN MAURICE DUHAMEL, passed away after a lengthy illness at home in Travers on November 20th, 2015 at the age of 78 years. He is survived by one sister, Avis (Claude) Buchanan of Grovedale, AB., three nephews (special nephew Kelly Buchanan), one niece, numerous great-nephews and nieces and great-great-nephews and nieces. Lynden is also survived by his special cousins Jim, Ivy and Twila. He was predeceased by his mother Annie in 1940 and his father Maurice in 1971.

Libby is the loving mother of one daughter and two sons Shelly (Darwin) Starner of Sherwood Park, Cory Duncan of New Dayton and Dave (Nadine) Duncan of Grande Prairie, AB five grand children Bryanne, Aliana and Alisa Starner, Chase, and Morgan Letto-Duncan.

MARY DUNCAN passed away peacefully February 10, 2011 at her home in Lethbridge. She was predeceased by her loving husband Allan in 2002. She is survived by her son William (Annetta), and her daughter Marsha (Rick) Alsip, grandsons Travis Duncan, Aaron Duncan, and Warren (Clare) Alsip, granddaughter Kimberly (Joey) Boutin, as well as six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Ben and Leota Pengilly and her siblings Frances, Joyce, Dan, Ruth, Wilhemina, Bob, and Tom.

In deep sadness, we announce the passing of our loved father, grandfather and friend, ALEXANDER FORREST DUNLOP. Known to many as Forrest and to others as Scottie, Alec and Timber, Dad passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. An entrepreneur before many, Dad sailed in 1957 with his young wife (Greta) and daughter from Scotland to Canada to begin a new life. Settling in Lethbridge, Alberta, Dad began his Canadian life on a farm on the Sunnyside Road.

PHILLIP (DUSTY) ABERDEEN JR. of the Blood Reserve, passed away at the Fort Macleod Extendicare, on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the age of 59 years. Dusty is survived by his children Marilyn (Corey) Good Striker of the Blood reserve, Beverly (Lester) Twigg of Calgary, Jody (Wes) White Quills of Calgary, Dana (Jessica) White Quills of Lethbridge, Dustin Meguinnis of Sarcee, seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Dusty was predeceased by his parents Phillip and Daisy Aberdeen, his brothers Edman, Ivan, Lester, and Gabriel, by his sisters Virginia and Mary, by his nephew Mathew, great grandson Seth and by his common law wife Patricia White Quills.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Hazel and his children; Arlene (Dan) Driscoll, Dwaila (Rob) Gfrerer, Gerri (Greg) Koskowich, Daryl (Sue) Harvie and Darren (Jana) Harvie. He dearly loved his grandchildren; Stephanie (Peter Holm) and Jennifer Koskowich; Robbie, Jarrid, and Adam Gfrerer; Timothy and Jillian Harvie; and Marcus, Miranda and Clayton Harvie, and his great grandchildren, Alexandra, Austen, Dominic, Mason, Mitchell, and Sophia.

VICTOR THOMAS DWYER passed away with his family at his side at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the age of 66 years. Victor is survived by his niece Patti (Martin) Otis, of Lethbridge, great nephews Rayne and Ryan, great nieces Trinity and Breanne, as well as great, great niece Ara. He is predeceased by his loving sister Anna Marie Martin (Dwyer). His quiet courage, strength of spirit, thoughtfulness and sense of humor will be carried forward by those who knew and loved him.

Mrs. Dora Dyck has peacefully past away to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday March 28, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Dora was born in Beaver Flats Saskatchewan, August 5, 1924. As she grew up she worked hard on her parent’s farm doing whatever needed to be done with her Dad. She married Nick Dyck on October 26, 1947 in Beaver Flats. SK. They farmed in and around the Foremost and Grassy Lake area.
