DORMAAR Ph.D, D.Sc.h.c., FCSSS of Lethbridge has reached its highest level of entropy on Thursday, February 2, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved children; Steve (Karen), Paul (Louise) and Jud (Richard), grandchildren; Amanda, Andy, Jamie, Janelle, Nicholas, Peter and Sean, great grandchildren Adrian and Logan, brother Nicholas, and a special friend.

Elaine Cooper-Biegler (Nee Bruchet) beloved wife of the late Frank Biegler of Lethbridge, AB., passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, June 3, 2013 at the age of 78 years. She was the loving mother of Rhonda (Dave) Lelek, Barb Waite, Robert (Orla) Cooper of Kelowna, B.C., Judy (Reg) Schacher of Calgary, AB., Leona (late Olaf) Schroeder of Calgary, AB., (adopted) daughter Robbin Helmer, grandchildren Elizabeth, Jennifer, Colin, Shaun, Ryan, Taisia, Brandon, Michelle, Stephen, Jason, Stephen, Alyssa, as well as 15 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Dorothy Irene Wells, (nee Jarvie) April 15th, 1932 - March 13, 2014 Dorothy Irene Wells, the beloved wife of Charles H. Wells, passed away at the St. Michaels Care Center, on Thursday March 13th, 2014, surrounded by the love of her natural family and the care of the wonderful professionals at St. Mikes. Dorothy was born to Anthony Marshall Jarvie and Sarah (Morris) Jarvie on April 15th, 1932 in Lethbridge Alberta.

She is the loving mother of Bonnie (Brian) Linderman of Blairmore. She is also survived by sisters Julie Lant and Lucy (Tony) Martino, brother; Rob (Denise) Amatto, sister-in-law Anne North and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Schilling, parents Marietta & Frank Amatto, sisters, Katie Amatto, Clara (Bruno) Galicia, Eleanor (Joe) Sygutek, brothers, John Amatto, Rossi (Francis) Amatto, Roccy (Durlene) Amatto, Joe (Mel) Amatto, Don (Linda) Amatto, nephew Terry (Cheryl) Anctil, niece, Connie (Aaron) Lindgren.

DOROTHY TOMLINSON, beloved wife of Robert, of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Monday, October 19, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by son Bryan (Barb) Tomlinson, daughter Sharon (Rick) Belanger, son Garry (Jill) Tomlinson, six grandchildren and five plus great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers; Roger, Jack, Ross and Mel and their families, and two sisters; Beth and Muriel and their families.

She is survived by her children; Grace VanderHooft (Laverne Fuller), Sydney (Sherrie) Bosch, Theodore (Valerie) Bosch, Margaret (Brian) Anderson and Anthony Bosch, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by 2 brothers Gordon (Thea) and Jake (Grace) deVries in Canada as well as numerous relatives in the Netherlands.

It is with great sadness and quiet relief that we announce the peaceful passing of Earl Milton Doucette on May 1, 2016. Earl was born June 17, 1921 in New Aberdeen Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. Earl has joined his dear wife Sal, mother Ada, father William Charles, as well ashis 10 brothers and sisters. After a short stint of working in the coalmine, Earl joined the army and was a part of the 13th Field Company Royal Canadian Engineers.

DOUGLAS ROBERT BASSETT, beloved husband and best friend of Wanda Bassett, passed away suddenly in Calgary, AB, on Friday, March 27, 2009. Doug was born on September 11, 1959 in Taber, AB. He grew up and attended school in Raymond, where he graduated from Raymond High School in 1977. Throughout his school years Doug excelled in sports, especially football and hockey. Doug held various jobs throughout his life, most notability working for Frito-Lay for 10 years with his brother Rick and Stampede Park in Calgary for 9 years where he was Race Foreman of Operations.

CROWE DOUGLAS JAMES “LIGHTNING” CROWE, passed away at Edith Cavell Care Centre on Thursday, March 7th, 2013 at the age of 61 years. Doug was born September 7, 1951 in High River, Alberta. When he was 6 years old the family moved from Longview to Stavely. Doug received his education between Stavely, Nanton and Claresholm. After graduation in 1971 Doug worked at various jobs: construction, farm labourer. In 1975 Doug purchased his 1970 Mack truck and started his own company, General Hauling.
