WALTER "SCOTTY" DUCHAN, beloved husband of 46 years to Pauline Duchan, passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Scotty was born in Helensburgh, Scotland, moved to Canada at the age of 11 years old and he spent his life in Lethbridge. He is loved by his son Jeremy (Jodi) Duchan of Lethbridge, daughter Jennifer (Kevin) Collins of Airdrie, grandchildren, Carter and Mackenzie Collins and grand-dog Micah Duchan.

MARJORIE DOW, beloved wife of the late Berne Dow, passed away on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by two sons, Ray (Mary) Dow of Lethbridge and Bill (Myrna) Dow of Kitchner, Ont., ten grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Ada Clark, two daughters, Marjorie and Carolyn, one son, Douglas, daughter-in-law Donna Dow, an infant son and two grandsons, Ryan and Thomas.

CHRIS DE JONG, beloved husband of Vicki De Jong passed away at St. Michael's Palliative Care facility in Lethbridge on Tuesday October 11th, 2016 at the age of 76 years. Chris is survived by his wife Vicki De Jong, his children Brian (wife Crystal and children Brandon, Cayley), Ron (wife Sandra and son Grant), and Darren; sisters Lamberdena De Jong, Joanne Veldman, Marlene Grinnell and brother Glenn De Jong, as well as their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews.

STUART JACOB DYCK, beloved brother, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the age of 53 years. He is survived by his siblings Patti Fischer, Teresa Dyck, Marvin Dyck, Vern Dyck, Lisa Dyck and Joyce Dyck. He was the loving son of Margaret and Jacob Dyck of Lethbridge who have predeceased him. Stuart was born May 22, 1963, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Stu loved cooking for family and friends.

GEORGE EDWARD d'ENTREMONT, beloved husband of Norma Mae d'Entremont, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his daughter Leigh-Ann (Vlad) Wasylechko, granddaughters Cassandra and Ashleigh, grandson Michael and great granddaughter, Aaliyah. George is also survived by numerous relatives in Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Charles d'Entremont.

ARIE DEKLERK, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre, on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the age of 70 years. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 47 years on (May 2nd), Martha: his children: Sandra (Ted), Debra (Naz), Ken (Jodi) and Curtis (Catherine) and 11 grandchildren. In addition to his immediate family, he also enjoyed being the Canadian father to the many foreign students who stayed at their home.

He passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the age of 82 years at the Chinook Regional Hospital with family by his side. Ted is survived by his daughter Margaret DeGroot (Shawn Breland) of Calgary, son Frank (Charlene) DeGroot of Lethbridge, daughter Wendy DeGroot (Tim Carroll) and her son Brandon Kahl of Chilliwack, BC, and son John (Sandra) DeGroot and their children Steven and Andrea of Hays.

Born near the front in 1917, AnneDuzs {nee} Kormous. Daughter of Istvan and Rosella Juhasz baptized her Anna on September 12, 1918 at Meszes Hungary. With the revolution coming her family migrated to southern Alberta by the spring of 1928. By the time winter arrived the 9 year old Anna's remaining parent Rosella was renting rooms to keep a roof over them and would do so for many years. With the produce from the garden and seasonal work at the cannery in town they managed to get by until the opportunity to work as a riveter on the liberty ships being built at The Burrard docks in Vancouver gave Anne the chance to earn a man's wage.

The family wishes to announce the passing of Deb on January 3, 2016 at the Palliative Care Unit, St. Michael's hospital. Deb died peacefully at the age of 62 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Stephen, and her daughters Elaine Fischer (husband Kris) and Jenna Greene (husband Scott). She was predeceased by her parents Marion and William (Bill) Reith. Deb devoted most of her life to raising her two daughters.
