PEDRO JOSEPH ALFRED CORDEIRO passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the age of 78 years. Alfie, as he was known to all his friends, is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Hyacinth, his sisters-in-law, Jane Cordeiro, Louisine Cordeiro, and Anita Cordeiro, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brothers Edmond, William and Henry. Alfie was born June 28, 1930, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

It is with great sadness that the family of THOMAS “BUSTER” COREY of Coaldale, Alberta, announces his death on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the age of 87 years after a brief stay in Palliative Care. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of almost 61 years, Joan. His children; Pat (Al) Theroux, Don (Dianne) Corey, Jim (Roberta) Corey, Rick Corey, Ken (Monique) Corey, Janet (Blair) Frache and Tom (Brenda Wiebe) Corey, all of Coaldale, Alberta, fourteen grandchildren, two step-granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren.

In keeping with her request, a private family service was held with interment in the Cardston Cemetery. MRS. CORINNE ELEANOR MILLER, (nee PITTMAN) of Milk River, AB passed away at the Milk River Extended Care Facility on Saturday, July 5, 2008, at the age of 85 years, following a prolonged struggle with her health. Corinne was born on February 4, 1923 in Warner, AB and in 1943 married Merritt (Heavy). After the war Corky and Heavy returned to Alberta. They spent most of their lives on the farm near Milk River where they enjoyed the companionship of many relatives and friends.

CORNELIUS ‘CORNIE’ DE JONG, beloved husband of Sharon De Jong of Lethbridge, AB passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, May 4, 2009 at the age of 68 years. He is the father of: Carmen (Steve) Mack, Bruce De Jong (Christina), and Mark De Jong (Tania) all of Lethbridge, AB; four grandchildren, Jazna and Dakota Mack, Chloe’ De Jong and Markus De Jong. He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters, Harvey De Jong, Peter (Joyce) De Jong, Diane (Keith) Hubbard, Marguerite (Phil) Walshe, Joanne (Derrick) Fritz and numerous nieces and nephews.

TERRY CORNISH, beloved husband of Glenda Cornish (nee Shantz) of Cardston, AB, passed away on July 19, 2017 at the age of 68. Terry is survived by wife Glenda, son Chris Cornish, daughter Shannon Brooker and son-in-law, Jeff Brooker. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Russell Brooker. Terry is survived by sisters Caryl Salins & Karen (Ron) Giles and brother Bob (Ellen) Cornish all of Airdrie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and their children.

It is with much love and sorrow that we announce the passing of JAMES MILTON (MILT) CREASEY on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 after a long siege with pulmonary fibrosis. He was born in Saskatchewan on July 18, 1933 and raised in Victoria. Milt was employed by BC Hydro, The Hudson Bay Company and later retired in 1990 from the Administration at the University of Calgary. Survived by his loving wife Bunny, sons Paul and Peter, step-daughter Karen Gregus (Ken - deceased), step-son Larry Wilson (Daphne) and four step-grandchildren.
