MR. CHRISTOPHER (CHRIS) TRENT THOMAS, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, August 18, 2013 in Lethbridge, Alberta, at the age of 65 years. Chris was predeceased by his father Ivor, mother Lorraine and wife Joan. He is survived by his son Trent (Kelly) and daughter Christie (Terry) and his two young granddaughters, brother Trevor (Rosie), sister Susan (Walter), and nieces Jen (Jeff) Paulette and Suzanne. Chris will be remembered for his service with the firefighters union and his no-nonsense straight forward manner, as well as his service to the Port Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association and the Buckaroo Jr.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1990. She leaves to mourn her passing six sons; Jim (Eileen), Roger, Ralph, Harold (Lynn), Randall and Richard (Suzie), one daughter Brenda (Lavern) Buchert, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two brothers Alan (Marjorie) and Norman (Rosemary) Dalsto.

BRIAN CLAPPISON beloved son of Robert Clappison, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 21, 2016 at the age of 52 years. He is the loving brother to Barbara Trottier of Burlington, Ontario, Evelyn (Steve) Bennett of Hamilton, Ontario, and Susan (Chris Rioux) Clappison of Lethbridge. He is survived by nine nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his mother Anne in 2011.

RUZAS On Wednesday January 8, 2014, CLARA RUZAS, beloved wife of the late Adolph Ruzas of Magrath, AB., at the age of 94, quietly changed her address from St. Therese Villa from earth, to Heaven. Mom, has now, finally left her earthly home to reside in her Heavenly dwelling. Clara and Adolph were married on October 11, 1936 in New Westminster, B.C. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, CLARA WILSON ANDERSON. Born in Gaudiedale, Scotland, May 7, 1911 she immigrated to Canada in April 1924 settling in the Picture Butte area. Married in 1931 to Lloyd Edward Anderson she became a loving and dedicated wife and mother. Clara was devout in her spiritual beliefs, teaching Sunday School and accepting the role of Superintendent of Sunday School for many years.

Clarence is survived by brothers Willard (Sharlene) Haakensen of Stony Plain, AB, Arnold (Pat) Haakensen of Medicine Hat, AB, sisters, Mabel (Tom) Kendall of Cadillac, SK, Verna (Edgar) Prive of Lethbridge, AB, Barb (Allen) Evesque of Cadillac, SK and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Louis & Wilma Haakensen, sister and brother in law, Bev and Chester Smetaniuk, grandparents, Thorvold and Martha Haakensen, Ab and Lillie Barton, nephew Travis Kendall and numerous aunts and uncles.

CLARENCE LUTHER KELLN passed away on his 66th birthday, July 31, 2008 at St. Michael’s Palliative Care, the beloved husband of Roslyn. He is survived by daughter Rhona (Darren) Dundas and grand-daughters Madison & Paige of LaBroquerie, MB, stepsons Kevin (Lyndsey) Brees and Neil (Erika) Brees and grandson Owen of Lethbridge, AB. Also mourning his passing are his mother Lydia Kelln and brother Herb (Viola) Kelln, nephews Rick & Jason together with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

MR. CLARENCE TRIPPEL beloved husband of Mrs. Dorothea Trippel, passed away Friday, August 31, 2007 at the Milk River Hospital at the age of 81 years. Clarence was born Feb. 17, 1926 in Rosthern, SK. to Lydia and Robert Trippel. Clarence was the eldest of twelve children, and leaves behind seven sisters, two brothers and their respective families. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers; Leo and Glen, parents-in-law and many other family and friends.
