Chartrand, Patricia Lenore

Patricia "Pat" Chartrand passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by the love of her family. She was born to Andrew and Hazel McLachlan on the family farm east of Coutts, AB where she was raised. She went to live with Hugh and Jo in Trail, BC during high school and then returned to Coutts where she married Clifford Larson and they raised their 5 children. Pat was very involved in sports.

RICHARD PAUL COTE, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the age of 63 years. Richard's early years were spent in Hardieville and he graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1971. Throughout his life, he worked hard from a mechanic to family owned and operated businesses. Richard is lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Bonnie, their sons Christopher (Connie), Daniel (Shannon), Jonathan (Marla) and Andrew (Jilana), grandchildren Paisley, Keira, Riley, Bowen, Gage, Katie, Logan, Jayme, Trinda, Keeton and Kalis, parents Leo & Velma Cote, siblings Don (Linda), Ken (Rita), Dave, Karen (Ed), Linda (Ron), and extended families.

JOAN CROSKERY (nee RYLANDS), beloved wife of the late Robert Croskery, passed away peacefully after a short stay at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 26th, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Joan is survived by her four daughters: Ruby Jane (John) Vancak of Fairhope, Alabama, Edith (Rick) Stokes of Toronto, Ontario, Catherine (Michael) McIntyre, also of Toronto, and Lettie (Andreas) Croskery of Lethbridge. Joan and Robert were incredibly loving grandparents to Catherine (Katie) Graham, Meredith Stokes, Robert Stokes, Erica Lynch and Nicole Pommer.

It is with heavy hearts and also with thanks for a long and healthy life, the family of IRENE CHABAY announce her passing after a brief stay at the Chinook Regional Hospital and St. Michaels Palliative Care Centre from complications following a number of heart attacks at the age of 91 with her children nearby. Irene was born July 7, 1923 in Tiszaadony, Bereg County, Hungary. She immigrated to Canada in early February, 1940 at the age of sixteen, after a horrific thirty-two day journey through Southern Europe with her younger sister Jolane.

VILMA CHIZMAZIA, beloved wife of the late James Chizmazia, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at her home, with family by her side. Vilma was predeceased by her husband James, infant son Donald, son Ronald, all her brothers (Charlie, Joe, John, Andrew and Julius), and her sisters Beth and Marian. She is survived by her children Beatrice, Eileen, P.J. and Jamie, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, and her sister-in-law Mary Kaszas.

Louise Christie has transitioned to her next creative adventure. It is her fervent wish that we share a smile, a light heart and the heartwarming joy of laughter, as Louise always felt that a healthy sense of humor was essential to weathering life's inevitable ups and downs.

March 1, 1922 - December 30, 2014 Irene Clark was called home to the Lord December 30, 2014 after a wonderful 92 years. She passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta after a short hospital stay. Irene is lovingly remembered by her son Ted Clark, daughter Colleen (Dave) Slovack, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, with another on the way. Her grandchildren include Ryan (Abby) Slovack, Amy (Shawn) Hass, Mark (Ashley) Slovack, Julie (Brett) Hoult, Jordan Hagg, Kimberly (Shawn) Smith and Kelsey Hagg.

With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of CLARENCE REGINALD CLUFF, Sgt. (Rtd.) of Coaldale, at the Coaldale Health Centre on Saturday, October 11th. 2014, at the age of 99 years. Clarence is survived by his brother Andrew Cluff (Chilliwack, B.C.) and his sister Laura Jones (Saskatoon, SK.). He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Louise, and brothers Les and Doug. Born in 1915 near Matador, Saskatchewan, Clarence was the eldest son of John and Olive Cluff.

Mom was named after her paternal aunt Clara Coverdale and maternal grandmother Pearl Nasadyk. She would answer to Clara Pearle, Pearle, CP, Mom, Ma, Mama, Grammy and Gramma or Gramma Pearle.... but no one dared to call her Pearlie ("the "E" is silent!

She was survived by her 5 children, Deanna (Chester) Kovacs of Lethbridge, Mickey (Sharon) Loxton of Thorsby, AB, Larry (Sandy) Loxton of Lethbridge, Linda (Doug) Watson of Golden, BC and Shannon (Alfred) Kerber of Shaughnessy; 12 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchldren and great-great-grandchildren. Margaret lived a long full life. She was born April 16, 1923 in Foremost Alberta.
