BOGDAN ELIZABETH (BETTY) BOGDAN, born April 25, 1917 to Anton and Elizabeth Paidel in Killaly, Saskatchewan, passed away at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary on Saturday, April 2, 2011. She was the second of 14 children. She married Frank Bogdan in 1937 and lived in the Grayson, SK area where they farmed until moving to Lethbridge in 1960. While in Lethbridge she worked at Lilydale poultry where she made some lifelong friends.

TONY BOGUSKY of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital with his family at his side on Sunday, January 15th at the age of 96. Tony was predeceased by his loving wife and best friend of 68 years Mary Bogusky and is survived by his children Donna (and Bob) Erickson of Roseville, California, Corrine Klassen of Coaldale, AB, Dennis (and Bev) of Abbotsford, BC, Wade (and Terri) of Red Deer, AB, 11 Grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary, wife and best friend to Tony for 68 years, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Mary is survived by her loving daughters Donna (Bob) Erickson of Roseville, CA, Corrine Klassen of Coaldale, AB, loving sons Dennis (Bev) of Eddystone, MB, and Wade (Terri) of Red Deer, AB. Mary is also survived by her sisters Helen and Gladys Vaselenak of Coaldale, AB, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

GARY WILLIAM STANLEY BOIVIN, beloved husband of the late Suzanne Boivin-Carriere, of Lethbridge, passed away in St. Michael’s Care Centre on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the age of 63 years. Gary is the father of three daughters Rose (Albert) Michael, of Sudbury, ON, Jeannine Boivin (Brent McCandless), of Sudbury, ON, Michelle Boivin-Carriere, of Lethbridge, AB, two stepsons Denis, of Brampton, ON and Eric, of Edmonton, AB and numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by four sisters Lynda Boivin (Roger Levack), Bonnie (Don) Blasutti, Sheryl Boivin (Hugh Doucette) , Dannielle (Glenn) Allaire, all of Ontario, and numerous nieces and nephews.

MRS. ANNE BOLOKOSKI (nee Skuban), beloved wife of the late Mr. John Bolokoski of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Edith Cavell Care Centre with her family by her side on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Anne was born on a farm near Arena, Saskatchewan on August 11, 1914. After the passing of her father, she went to work as a young girl at the age of 14.

JAMES “JIM” BOLOKOSKI, of Picture Butte, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the age of 56 years. He is survived by his mother Agnes Brown (Al Greengrass) of Vernon, BC, brother Dale (Marjorie Bolokoski, of Cohocton, NY, their daughter Laura, of San Diego, and his step mother Lil Bolokoski, of Lethbridge; as well as many numerous aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father Ervin.

Besides her loving husband, Antonia is survived by Henrie (Harold) Beaulieu of Lethbridge, Alberta; Anne Thomsen of Toronto, Ontario; Lidy (Maurice) de Kwaadsteniet, of Edmonton, Alberta; Ellen (Gary) Kofman, of Edmonton, Alberta; Joanne (Curtis) Lazar, of Fernie, B.C.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Ali Friele, of Putten the Netherlands; and 1 brother, Evert (Ank) Kok, of Zwolle, the Netherlands.

WALTER F. BORAS, beloved husband of Fran Boras, of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at the Edith Cavell Care Centre in Lethbridge on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at the age of 74 years. He is loved and will be sadly missed by his wife Fran and three children; Karla (Chuck) Praught and their daughter, Katy; Keith (Holly) Boras and children, Lindsay and Kelsey (Jason) (great grandchild Tyler); Jordan; and Koreen (Cam) D’Andrea and their children Kaylee and Tanner.

Born on May 21, 1937 in Vancouver B.C., MAY BOESSENKOOL was a loving wife, mother, sister, proud Grandma, as well as “Aunty” May to many. She enjoyed her family, and listening to her husband perform in various places, with their pet “Kita”. She had a giving nature and opened her home to all.
