It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Ferguson of Lethbridge, husband of Cathy Ferguson for 52 years, died peacefully at home on Monday, July 20, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his daughter Cathy (Al) O’Neil and her children Andrew and Jamie; his son Brian (Rhonda) Ferguson and their children Riley, Maddison and Lukus; and his daughter Mary (Jack) Peake and their children Ty and Kyra.

BILL ROYCROFT, beloved husband of Barbara of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at the age of 60 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by: brother Fred Roycroft (Betty) of Port Coquitlam, B.C. and family Jason, Joel, Erin, Brendon, Dayman and Michelle; Barb’s family, her father Hub Winter of Calgary, brother Bob Winter (Ruth), sister Joni Winter of Calgary, and her family; Sara (Chris) and their son Micha, Rosie (Sylla) and their sons Isaiah and Benjamin of Calgary, and close friends Connie Eddy and Dichoy Dong of Lethbridge and Amy Unger of Coaldale and on and on.

We regret to announce the sudden passing of WILLIAM ‘BILL’ STANKO on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at his daughter’s home in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 65 years. He is survived by his daughter Candace (Trevor) Page, son Troy Stanko, and their half brother Shane, the mother of his children Faye, brothers George (Margaret), Mike (Janey) and Allan (Elsie), sister Julie (Ed) Lastuka, grandchildren; Craig and Tannis Page, Kelsey and Colton Stanko, extended family Darleen, Cindy, Steven, Jennifer, Lisa, Stevie, Chelby, Kayla as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

TETSUO TOMIYAMA, known to his friends and family as Bill or Willy, suddenly passed away in his sleep at home in Kamloops, BC on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the age of 62 years. Bill was born October 12, 1945 in Fort MacLeod, AB, the fourth youngest of Haruko and Giichi Tomiyama’s twelve children. Mr. WILLIAM (BILL) WINTER, of Sunrise Village, Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Doris Winter, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the age of 88. Bill is survived by his son Wayne (Wilma) Winter; son Jerry Winter; and son Doug (Nancy) Winter all of Lethbridge; grandchildren Hal Winter, Lethbridge; Glen (Kerry) Winter and their children Lindsay and Ben of Medicine Hat; Lynette (Kris) Godfrey and their children Luke and Paige of Red Deer; Rhett and Teale Winter of Lethbridge.

WILLIAM ‘BILL’ YANKE, beloved husband of 52 years to Marion Yanke of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the age of 78 years. He was a loving father and grandfather to many. THELMA BLACKMER, beloved wife of the late Jim Blackmer, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side. in Milk River, on Friday, April 13, 2012 at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jim, one son, James Jr., and two grandsons, Paul & Kevin. Blair Allen Beswick passed away in the early morning of July 2, 2009 at the age of 52. He was the youngest child of Lillian and Tom Beswick. He spent his childhood and young adulthood on the family farm in Spring Coulee, and made Lethbridge his home as an adult. He was a quiet, solitary gentleman who was kind to others. Blair was predeceased by his parents and two older brothers (Ken and Barry).
