THOMAS JOHN BERTHELOTTE, passed away at the St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Arrangements for a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

MARY BESAW, beloved wife of the late Walter Besaw, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, in Lethbridge, on Friday, April 27, 2012 at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her sister Mildred (Clarence) White; her sons Walter (Geraldine); Leonard (Chris); David (Dorothea); Robert (Mary); Ron (Helene); John (Margaret); Francis and Gerard (Joan) and daughter Theresa (Peter) Heffernan; twenty-nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Mary was pre-deceased by her parents, two sisters, eight brothers and daughter-in-law Diane.

ERNST "HANK" HOHAN BESSELING, beloved husband of Margaret Besseling, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, on Sunday April 27, 2014 at the age of 79 years. Hank was born in Denhelder, Netherlands October 22, 1934 to his parents Johan and Gertrude Besseling. He immigrated to Canada March 16, 1955 and married the love of his life Margaret (Pownall) in 1957 and had just celebrated their 57thwedding anniversary in March.

MRS. BESSIE LILLIAN ADSHEAD, beloved wife of the late Frank R. Adshead of Lethbridge, AB, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her sister-in-law Frances Seaman of Lethbridge; close nephews Barry and Denny Morgan, many nieces and nephews and special friends Donetta and Doug Hancock. She was predeceased by her husband Frank, one sister Louise May Morgan and three brothers, Juan, Herbie and Frank Bullis.

Beth passed away in the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on the morning of Saturday, April 20, 2013 surrounded by her family, at the age of 82. Beth was predeceased by her former husband Floyd HAWTHORNE and her parents Esther and John GAUNT.

MRS. LYDIA BETKE passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 71 years after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was born on March 15, 1939 to Edward and Julianna Fiedler in Lubiel, Poland. Lydia, her parents and siblings immigrated to Canada in 1952 and settled in the Picture Butte area. She went to school in Picture Butte, McNally and Coaldale. After High School she received her Nursing Aide certificate and worked at various hospitals in Calgary, Brooks and Medicine Hat.

Betty will be missed by daughter Patricia Anne, son-in-law Peter, and grandson Steven Ryan Madany. She was predeceased by husband Charles Rufus Clarke, daughter Denise Pauline Goode, and grandson John Graham Madany. Roy Frig of Lethbridge and mother of Len (Dyane) Frig of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Besides her loving husband E.W. Roy Frig, Betty is survived by son Len (Dyane) Frig and their children Heather (Brian) Reche and Krystal as well as great granddaughter Kylie of Salt Lake City, Utah.

BETTY JOYCE KARAPITA nee Carlson, beloved wife of Mr. Mervin ‘Red’ Karapita of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, Palliative Care on Monday, August 20, 2007 at the age of 69 years. Besides her loving husband of 42 years, Betty is survived by her children Dana Karapita of Claresholm and Kent Karapita of Claresholm. Betty is also survived by her sister-in-law Ann Carlson and her family Lorna (Lloyd) and Graeme (Tammy) and their daughter Kaylin, sister-in-law Sylvia (Bud) Moan and their family Warren, Pam and Kim, sister-in-law Iris Dixon and her son Alan as well as numerous other relatives in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Ireland.

BETTY WESTWOOD, beloved wife of the late Malcolm Westwood, of Coalhurst, passed away after a lengthy illness at the St. Michael Health Centre, Palliative Care unit, on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the age of 70 years. She is the loving mother of; Lesley Leblanc (Doug Wilson) of Coalhurst and Laurey (Clarence) Zerkee of Lethbridge; four grandchildren, Jeremy (Melissa) Leblanc of Petawa, ON, Daniel Leblanc of Petewawa, ON, Billy Leblanc of Lethbridge and Mary Zerkee of Lethbridge, two great grandchildren Havana Little and Cooper Leblanc.
