In Loving Memory Edward G. Bartel 1958-2013 ED BARTEL, beloved husband of Leona Bartel, of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the age of 55 years. Ed was born on June 27, 1958, in Lethbridge, Alberta, to Edward E. and Katherine Bartel. During his childhood, Ed and his family enjoyed many activities including skiing and taking vacations together. This is also when he developed his strong love for motorcycling and for music in singing, piano, guitar, trombone, and organ.

CHARLES ELMER BARTHA, beloved husband of Faith Arlette Bartha of Picture Butte, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Besides his loving wife he is survived by his family; Carlina (Rick) Caruso and their children Anthony, Deanna and Carley; Kevin (Pam) Bartha and their children Danielle, Trevor (Kristin) and Tyler; Brenda (John) Vander Heyden and their children Curtis (Melissa), Shawn (Amy), Ashlyn and Travis.

HERBERT BARTKE passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the age of 87 years. A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date.

MR. KENNETH “KEN” WAYNE BARTLETT, beloved husband of the late Kathleen “Kaye” Bartlett of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at home with his son and two special angel caregivers on Wednesday, Sept 29, 2010 at the age of 84 years. He is survived by his son Terry of Calgary, two grandsons Chris (Tracy) of Edmonton and Kevin of Edmonton and three great-grandchildren, Natalie, Haden & Calin. He is also survived by two brothers, Vernon of Picture Butte and Eugene of Calgary, two sisters, Zona (Ivan) Long of Calgary and Grace Galambos of Lethbridge.

PATRICIA (PAT) BARTLETT passed away at the Legacy Lodge on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the age of 96, after a long and full life. Pat was born and lived the majority of her life in Lethbridge. She was the sixth of nine children born to Harry & Barbara Forbes. Pat is survived by her son Gary (Sheryl), her grandchildren Tobi Bartlett-Baugh (Ryan) and Eric (Glenda) Matthews, her sister Roberta (Alan) Kimber, son-in-law Gordon Matthews, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of ANNA BARTOSEK, beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Anna passed away on February 21 at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital as a result of injuries suffered from a fall in her home. Anna was born on March 11, 1926 in Hajkowka, Poland, the second of four children born to Gregory and Maria Szpendyk. The family was forced to flee their homeland shortly after the beginning of World War ll, resulting in them being placed in German work camps.

MR. BASTIAAN VISSER of Picture Butte, beloved husband of Mrs. Maria Visser for 53 years, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the age of 75 years. Besides his loving wife Maria, Bastiaan is survived by his son Leo Visser of Calgary, children Rebecca and Sam and daughter Gonnie (Chester), children Maria (Jamie deKok) and Tristan. He is also survived by his brother Wico (Ina) Visser in Oud Beijerland, The Netherlands and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Emmy (Piet) de Groot in Mijnsherenland, The Netherlands.

JACK BASTIEN (SPY-II-KWAN) NOVEMBER 19, 1923 TO SEPTEMBER 2, 2010 Spy-ii-kwan - Jack Bastien was called home by the Creator at the age of 86 on Thursday, September 2, 2010. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jenny in 1995, his son, Marshall in 2010 and a baby daughter, Byrdie in 1963.
