ADAM BRODOWAY, beloved husband of Mrs. Shirley Brodoway, on September 26th, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Adam Brodoway set the standard for dedication and perfection to his wife and family and to his community. Adam was born on April 1st, 1935 in Melfort, Sask, the sixth of 11 children to Michael and Anne Brodoway.

She is the loving mother of LeRoy (Dolores) Lazarick of Calgary, AB, Priscilla Lazarick, of Lethbridge, AB, Wayne (Cindy) Lazarick of Lethbridge, AB, Gloria (Larry) Trentini of Coaldale, AB, and Brenda (Ron) Latimer of Kingston, ON as well as 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

DON VERNON BERENT, loving husband of the late Lucille Berent, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family at St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Don was born to Pat and Lenora Berent on December 25, 1934 at the family home in Claresholm. He was brother to Faye (Bob) Whitlock, Rita (Ross) Lyon, Gerry (Kathie) Berent, Deanna (Don) Niemetz, and Darrell Berent.

HILDA MARGARET BIG SWAN of the Piikani Nation, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the age of 85 years. She is lovingly remembered by her son Hiram (Cynthia) Big Swan, grandchildren Inez Yellowhorn, Zachery (Jayme) Big Swan, Isaiah Big Swan and Kalib Smith and great-grandchildren Piper Yellowhorn, Malakai Big Swan and Mirika Steele. She was the last descendant from the lineage of the late Chief Phillip and Annie Big Swan (nee Meat Face).

DIANE "DINIE" BERNS, beloved wife of the late Theodore "Ted" Berns, of Lethbridge, AB., passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Sunday, June 21st, 2015 at the age of 84 years. She is the loving mother of John (Isabelle) Berns, George Berns, Ted (Lorrie) Berns, Andy Berns & Nancy (Roy) Schaefer, as well as the adoring grandma of 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her loving husband, Diane was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, one sister and a daughter-in-law.

DR. RAY BAINBOROUGH, beloved husband of Barbara Goodwin-Bainborough, of Raymond, passed away at the Prairie Ridge Lodge on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the age of 97 years. Ray Bainborough was born in Toronto, Ontario on March 8, 1918, the oldest brother among three, and lived in a number of smaller Ontario towns until his family settled in Gore Bay, Ontario, on the Manitoulin Island in 1929. It was there he met his first wife, Orrice McDougall, to whom he was married until her death in 1996.

HORACE WILLIAM "Spum" BIRD Jr. (BLACK PLUME), passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the age of 46 years. Horace is lovingly remembered by his children, Kurenza Bird (Jeremy Spear Chief), Horace Trent Bird III and Brett Michael Weasel Head as well as his only grandchild, Abby Spear Chief, whom he adored. He is also survived by his sister Kaily Bird, brothers Dexter and Rodney Black Plume, Ruben Many Chief and Byron Crying Head.

IAN BURNETT, beloved husband of Jean Burnett, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the St. Michael's Health Centre on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Born in Cuminestown, Scotland, Ian emigrated to Canada in 1957 with his young family. He worked at International Harvester and until his retirement, for the City of Lethbridge Transit Dept. as a mechanic. He loved music and was a member of the Lethbridge Folk Club house band in its early years.

OREN ROBERT BEANE, of Lethbridge, beloved and devoted husband of 41 years to Shirley Yvonne Beane, nee Helmer, passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday, March 8th, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his sons Jeff (Cathy), Tim also known as Tiny (Heather), Rory (Pam), Michael and daughter Kelly Harris (Ben). He also was a wonderful stepdad to Karen Bader (Tom), Randy Horne (Sue) Jack Horne Jr.

<p>Our beloved husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa, Harland Leonard passed away peacefully in his sleep, February 21, 2015 with his youngest grandson by his side, leaving his loving and devoted wife of 69 years, Bertha.</p> <p>Harland was born on the family farm, approximately 17 miles south of present day Val Marie, SK, on October 14, 1924. He was the second oldest and only son of Leord and Johanna (Moe) Brandon.
