MRS. ANNA (Anne) LEGGE, beloved wife of the late Mr. Robert (Bob) Legge, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at Legacy Lodge on July 1, 2011 at the age of 92 years. Anne was born in Lethbridge in 1918. She is survived by her three children: Joanne (Cliff) Stroh, Lois (Leo) Ledene, Laurie (Judy) Legge. Seven grandchildren: Miles Stroh, Mike (Pam) Stroh, Lindsey Ledene, Dave (Kristi) Legge, Laura Legge, Joe (Tevi) Legge and Vanessa Legge. One great grandchild: Beau Solomon Legge and one sister: Emily Sharpe, sister-in-laws: Marj Legge, Betty Legge and brother-in-law Ron (Lynn) Legge as well as many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her husband Bob in 1984, her parents William and Katherine Tesluk and sisters: Helen (Mike) Kropinak, Rose (Gordon) Mulner, and Frances (John) Pieschuk. Anne grew up in Lethbridge and as a teenager, spent many summers working in Waterton Lakes. She married Bob in 1941 and worked many years for Simpson Sears and Sears catalogue store. Mom had many hobbies and was a very accomplished painter and seamstress. Mom and dad loved to travel and took several trips to Europe, Hawaii and the Caribbean. They also enjoyed trailering with many friends and family, especially to the Waterton Lakes area. Anne loved her family dearly and really enjoyed her home and garden. She was a gracious host and her house was where our family congregated for many family meals and celebrations. Mom was fortunate enough to live in her own home right up to the age of 92. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the caring staff at Legacy Lodge and to Dr. Raphael. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at ST. AUGUSTINE’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411 - 11 Street South, Lethbridge with Canon Allan McCuaig Officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
