On Sunday, December 14, 2025, the Lord called Laura Faith Haveman home to heaven in her 26th year. She is now able to walk and talk with Jesus. We praise and thank the Lord for her life and the blessing she was to us her family and to many others.

She is survived by her parents Derrick and Connie Dykstra, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; Michael(Courtney) Anna, Casey, Caleb, Evynne, Thunder Bay; Jesse(Diane) Lucy, Lauren, Thunder Bay; Emily(Ben) Meszaros Calgary; Allison(Travis) Langendoen, Jemma, Daniel, Frederick; Joanna and Glenn. Oma Gerritdina Cramer Thunder Bay, and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, John Haveman, brother Peter Haveman, Opa and Oma John and Susan Haveman, Opa Gerrit Jan Cramer, Pake and Beppe Glenn and Mattie Dykstra.

Laura was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario and moved to Lethbridge, Alberta in 2020 with her family. She was always a quiet presence but impacted many people. Laura had many caretakers over the years and we would like to thank them for being a blessing to her and our family. She attended the Thunder Bay Christian School and we would like to thank Lorrie and Kari for the many years of care they gave while Laura was there. Thank you to Bridge Home Care and Alfred Egan Home for the homecare and respite they gave. In lieu of flowers donations to the Thunder Bay Christian School (www.tbcs.school) would be appreciated.

A Memorial Service will be held at TRINITY REFORMED CHURCH, 1100 – 40 Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Barry Beukema officiating. The Memorial Service will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Laura’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.
