After an intense struggle with illness, Mom went to be with Dad on Sunday, April 21, 2013 Mom was born December 2, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After stops in Geracton and Hymers, Ontario, Mom met Dad when he retruned from serving in World War II. Mom leaves behind Peg (George), Jim (Sophie) and Jo; three grandchildren, Shannon (Jeff), Stacey and D.J. and four great grandchildren, Mitchell, Kendra, Rhiannon and Owen. She was predeceased by her parents; Dad passed away in 1980. There will be no service per Mom's request.
