EILEEN RUTH KUKUCSKA passed away surrounded by her family on June 23, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.
EILEEN RUTH KUKUCSKA passed away surrounded by her family on June 23, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Alexander Kukucska, and her children Tim (Joanne) Kukucska, Tammy (Jim) Bosch and Randy Kukucska; her grandchildren Jenny (Curt) Horne, Joey (Jaymes) Going, Angie Schwartz (Alex), Laura Roest (Mike) and Lonaya (Kelvin) Willard; her great-grandchildren Cooper, Calla, Holly, Lark, Luna, Logan, Zach, Chris, Dom, Madison, Zak and Kayleigh; her sisters Margaret Hoytos and Betty (Lorne) Poyser; and brothers Jay (Maureen) Kemble, Duane Kemble and Harold Kemble. She will also be missed by her many nephews, nieces, bingo and coffee buddies and cherished friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Victor and Esther Kemble, her sister Phyllis Degenstein and her father and mother-in-law Andrew and Margit Kukucska.
Eileen was born in Fort Macleod on August 4, 1941. She lived in Fort Macleod, Pincher Creek and in Warner before finally moving to Milk River in 1957 where she remained until her passing. Eileen enjoyed bingo, bowling league, coffee time with the girls and her rose garden.

Eileen's family would be honoured by your presence to celebrate her life at ST. PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH - 321 Main Street NW, Milk River, AB on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Marion Martin officiating.
A Private Family Interment will be held at the Milk River Cemetery.

I was so sorry to hear of Eileen's passing. She was a lady full of life and laughter, with a no-nonsense approach. She was always kind and always had a big hug for me whenever we'd meet. I felt so privileged to have spent two summers working alongside her at the Prairie Rose Lodge where I was taught so much about life and what was truly important. There wasn't much that couldn't be solved over a cup of coffee, and I remember getting so much great advice both from her and Marg. She helped introduce me to big-city bingo, and we took more than one trip to Lethbridge to try our luck. While we didn't win the big cash prize, the time I spent getting to know her better was so much more valuable. Her friendship will always be treasured and my life will be that much brighter for having been a part of hers. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. She will always be missed.
