Gordon & I would like to say how sorry we are to have seen in the church bulletin the passing of Barry. We will always remember Barry for his friendlyness and love of dogs. Your doggies really got a good home when they were with you and Barry. We remember how you both made us so welcome in your home when we visited. We had a wonderful time with you and Barry visiting together. May God give you pece and comfort in these difficult days. May Barry rest in peace. Kathie & Gordon

Many, many years ago, I started at the north side Safeway and I worked with Barry, he was always the perfect gentleman, always so helpful and kind. Over the years, I have worked with a lot of people, but Barry stands out as such a wonderful and helpful person. After leaving Safeway, we reconnected when he moved to the West Side Safeway and we would always talk, again, Barry was just a gentleman. I remember in my early years working with Barry, he always spoke of you, his wife, with such love and reverence. I hope that you know that he had great love for you. I will miss him as a friend, as a person that I simply spoke to at Safeway, he touched so many lives. The everyday person that just shops for groceries, all of them will remember Barry. They may not know it was Barry Knaggs, but they will remember Barry from Safeway. Please know that I am sending on a donation to my favorite charity, Alberta Animal Rescue Society, in memory of my good friend of many years. I wish that I could have met you at some point in time, but know that my love is with you at this time.
