It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of FRIEDA KLIMOW, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late George Klimow, on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the age of 88 years.

Frieda is survived by her children: Vic (Sherry) Klimow of Calgary, George Klimow Jr of Chilliwack, BC, and Heidi Klimow of Calgary as well as her grandchildren Jonathan, Stacie, Brett, Jason, and Sam and great-grandson Benson.

Besides her loving husband George, Frieda was predeceased by her sister Annie Dietterbe.

Frieda was born in Josefstal, Ukraine on July 2, 1934. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1950 when she was 16 years old.

A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Lee Loveridge officiating.

Frieda will be laid to rest beside her husband George in Mountain View Cemetery.

Dear Freida, It is true that you will not be forgotten. I miss you terribly already, you were my best friend. You were a "real" person, never afraid to say what you thought, an amazing cook, hospitable, hardcore gardener and had a hilarious sense of humor. A true gem. I miss your voice and being able to phone you already. Freida told me if I ever went through what she did, I would know God was real, she couldn't wait to see God and her savior Jesus Christ, I believe her family and her belief is what gave her hope and strength. My sadness has a silver lining in that I know I will see her again and that now she is more alive then when I ever knew her. God bless you Frieda and your family too. My sincere condolences to all of you.

Dear Freida, we will miss you so much. You were our good and wonderful neighbour for 31 years (off and on as we moved back and forth from B.C.!). So many funny and happy memories. You and George were very dear to us. There will never be another Freida, you were the one and only. Love from our whole family.
