KILFOYLE, MARION JEAN

MARION KILFOYLE of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Harvey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the age of 85 years at the St. Michael’s Health Centre. Marion is survived by her children: Adora (Larry) Williamson, Judy (Alan) Hoard, Rhett (Barbara), Pat (Eileen), and Linda Kilfoyle. Nanny will be missed by her grandchildren: Kevin Williamson, Teresa (Aaron) Jakubec, Jay Park, Amanda, Breanna; and a great grandson, Shamus. Marion was born in Paipoonge, Ontario in 1926 and moved to Lethbridge with Harvey in 1960. She was predeceased by her brothers, Ervin and Jarrell Hoard. Marion will be remembered by all those she worked with at Woodward’s and her fellow bowlers at the Holiday Bowl. As per Mom’s wishes, no service will be held, but a farewell celebration and interment will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Mountainview Cemetery, Field of Honour, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VIP Bowlers of Lethbridge.
