MRS. ANNE KERBER, beloved wife of Mr. Horst Kerber, passed away suddenly in Lethbridge on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Horst and Anne immigrated to Canada in 1954 and settled in the Shaughnessy area where they resided until her passing. She accomplished much in her life, including raising 3 children. Anne was a compassionate, thoughtful and honourable woman who loved her family. Her love of life and people touched the lives of those who knew her. Her final wish finally came true on August 7, 2010 when she was blessed with her one and only great-granddaughter Hailey. Anne is survived by her husband Horst Kerber of Shaughnessy, children; Alfred (Shannon) Kerber of Shaughnessy, Christel Rook (Jim) of Shaughnessy and Monica (Ed) Warbrick of Lethbridge, grandchildren; Jason Passey, Daniel (Cortni) Rook, Chad (Chloe) Rook, Tyler (Amie) Rook, Jessie Kerber and Justin Kerber and great-grandchildren; Quinton, Ashton, Brody and Hailey. She is also survived by her sister Helga Weber of Germany, brothers and sisters-in-law; Heinz (Margaret) Kerber, Walter Kerber and Werner (Lotte) Pietschmann as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her parents and brother Willi, all from Germany. A Service of Remembrance will be held at CHRIST TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 416 - 12 Street South, Lethbridge on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jason Anderson officiating.
