MRS. Donna-Kae (Kae), beloved wife of Ernie Resler of Lethbridge, AB, passed at St. Michael’s Health Care Centre, on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the age of 67 years. She is the loving mother of children, Dale Resler of Vancouver BC, Audra (Dave) Stinson of Coaldale, AB, and Derek (Tracy) Resler of Lethbridge, AB; her four grandchildren Courtney, Chrissy, Morgan and Alex; brothers Gary Krause, Bill Krause and sister Sharon Scheuerman. She was predeceased by, her brother Jim Krause, her parents Donna and Alex Krause. Donna-Kae was born in Provost, AB, September 25, 1941. She grew up in Edmonton and area where she met Ernie while they both worked for Imperial Lumber. They moved to Lethbridge in 1970 where Donna-Kae took an active role in her community as a Sunday School teacher, bookkeeper and friend to all that knew her. Although she suffered a stroke in 1981, she always had a great sense of humor, a quick wit and always made her family, friends, other patients and the nursing staff smile. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Michael’s Health Care Centre and the former St. Michael’s Rehabilitation Hospital for their years of dedicated care for Donna-Kae. A Service of Remembrance will be held at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 20 Rocky Mountain Blvd. W., Lethbridge, AB, Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Richard Brown officiating.
