June you were a mother, wife, sister, grandmother, friend and leader the likes to which few are ever privileged enough to know. You were endlessly giving and compassionate with a strength to rival the strongest man. The world is a slightly dimmer place in your absence, but you deserve to be at peace and without pain in the heaven you dreamed of and in the arms of the God you put your faith in. We love you eternally and you will never be forgotten. May your angels receive you with open arms. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all the nurses and staff at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit and the Lethbridge Regional Hospital for all the support and hugs which were needed during June’s last days.
