JOSEY CHEYENNE LANE DAY RIDER, beloved daughter of April Day Rider, passed away on Friday, April 4th, 2014 in Vancouver B.C. at the age of 18 years. Josey has gone on her journey to be re-united with her late parents Terri Lee Day Rider and Robbie Day Chief. Josey is survived by her mother April Rose Day Rider, step dad Godfrey Jr Red Crow. Her boyfriend Kolby Bastien. Godparents Chris Day Chief and Cindy Day Chief. Her brothers Tommy Lee Day Rider (Lisa), Tucker Day Rider (Chantel) and Logan Red Crow. Her sister Ashley Day Rider, neices Terrilee, Makayla, Ararity, Scarlett and Paris and nephew Tommy Jr. Her Grandpa Johnny & Aggy Day Rider, Aunties Lisa Marie Day Rider (Gary) Norma Jean Day Rider, and Cindy, Tracey, Lisa, Kelcey, Bradford and Brianna. Uncles John Jr Day Rider (Tammy) and Vernon Day Rider. Cousins Nona, Nolan, Karma, Kevy, Kali, Raine, Maisy, Jonathon and baby Johnny. She was predeceased by her late grandparents Barney and Rosie Day Rider, Edmund Wolf Child and Doris Day Chief.

Josey was a very beautiful young lady; as a child Josey had a big heart she was kind, caring and fun to be around. Josey made a lot of friends all over from her travels and throughout school. Josey was always willing to help everyone and did not complain. My girl was a fancy dancer; she danced for me and was so proud of herself too. Josey was taught horsemanship by Grandpa John and put in a lot of miles on her horse Mouse. Josey was all of our baby and ranch girl. She loved her cowboy life and she excelled in being our just Josey. Josey showed lots of love to all and everything, a kind hearted ANGEL. My only comfort is that she is going home to her Terri Lee. Our Josey Cheyenne Lane Day Rider was a granddaughter, daughter, sister, niece, auntie, cousin, sister-in-law, godchild and special girlfriend to Kolby Bastien.

A Wake will be held at SENATOR GLADSTONE HALL, Blood Reserve on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 7:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.

A Funeral Service will be held at SENATOR GLADSTONE HALL, Blood Reserve on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment to follow at Farm 4, Blood Reserve.
