JOSEPHINE SNIDER passed away at the Good Samaritans, Park Meadows Village on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Josie was born in Lethbridge, May 15, 1917, to Adolf and Annie Boguski. In 1939 she married her loving husband Carroll Snider, who passed away in 1999. Josie will be lovingly missed by her children; Allan, Joan (Melvin) Nemecek, Glen (Jackie) and Faye (Brent) Kozak. Her eldest son George (Sherry) passed away in early January. Josie is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren who adored their kind and generous ‘Grandma’. Only one sister (Frances Vaselenak) and one brother (Tony Bogusky) remain of her siblings. Josie and Carroll farmed in the Diamond City/Park Lake area before retiring to Lethbridge in 1973. A Funeral Service will be held at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 20 Rocky Mountain Blvd West, Lethbridge on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Richard Brown officiating. Interment to follow at Archmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Samaritans, Park Meadows Village, 1511 - 15th Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB, T1H 1W2.
