Johnston, Doreene

DOREENE MARJORIE JOHNSTON (DANNATT), of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Russ Dannatt, was born in Dauphin, MB, on March 5, 1927 and passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Fairmont Extendicare, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the age of 95 years. 

Doreene is survived by her son Don (Darlene) Johnston and daughter Judi Johnston; grandchildren: Josh (Cari) Johnston, Amy (Kevin) Taylor and Keelie (Matt Trainor) Johnston and Cody Callaghan; great-grandchildren: Jordyn Vosburgh, and Rylan and Sawyer Johnston; and great-great-grandchildren Dane and Cade Taylor as well as numerous stepchildren and step-grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Lola Pitcher, brother Ray (Vi) and sister Elaine Pitcher, first husband Robert "Bob" Johnston, second husband Russ Dannatt, stepson Robert Dannatt and grandson Tim Callaghan. 

A Celebration of Doreene's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Trevor Potter officiating. 

Doreene will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery in a private Family Interment.
