I graduated with John from grade 12 at Kate Andrews high school. Recently we got reacquainted at the hospital. Dear Ruth, may our Lord comfort you, and give you peace, knowing that he is no longer suffering. Until we meet again, Linda and Ken Stenbeck.
I’m sorry I couldn’t attend John’s funeral. We got to know each other while working together at the MCC thrift store. He had a great sense of humour and we shared a lot of laughs. I will miss him.
John's friendship was an exceptional gift to us, our kids and granddaughters. By his caring 'presence' he mentored, enriched and blessed all of us in 'things of the heart.' Truly John was grounded in Love. May you, Ruth and his extended family find a gentle Peace in your loss.
My sincere condolences on the passing of a gentle man. I was a school mate of John's at KAHS and then chatted with him in the intervening years at Green Haven. Blessings to his family.

Such a gentle soul!! John gave countless Blood Donations over the years at the Canadian Blood Services in Lethbridge. Every time John came to donate, he would always be wearing shorts. I will never forget our conversations and the laughter we shared.! I'm going to miss you John. Til we meet again my friend. God Bless.
I knew John from working at the Agriculture Canada Research Centre. He was a very fine gentleman. With Deepest Sympathy to his family Sincerely, Faye
I worked with John at the Research Station many years ago, but I will always remember him for his kind and gentle outlook. We would meet occasionally after that and always have warm and memorable conversations. He was one of those people who could bring your blood pressure down just with his smile and his voice. I think of him fondly and always will. If there is a petit point club in the afterlife, he will be warmly welcomed.
John has been a wonderful neighbor for years. I will miss our curbside chats!
So sorry to hear of your brother’s passing Ruth. He was a gentle man. May he rest in peace.
