JOHN OTTO KASZAS of Lethbridge passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at home at the age of 86 years. Surviving and left to honour his life are his wife Mary; daughters Patti (Rudy Peters), Betty “BJ” (Weldon Hobbs), Susan “Su” (Tim McCuaig); grandson Jesse McCuaig; sisters Beth Livingstone and Vilma Chizmazia, as well as several nieces, nephews and their families.

He was predeceased by his brothers Charlie and Joe and sister Marion.

John was owner/operator of Johnny’s Livestock Express which suited him well as he loved adventure and travel. He was also a farmer and raised cattle. He enjoyed his retirement taking many journeys with Mary throughout Canada and the U.S., often choosing the roads less travelled. John took great pride in his garden, rock collection and many other treasures, always sharing them with family and friends. He will be cherished for eternity as he was in life.

There will be no funeral service as per John’s request.
