LATURNUS SR. MR. JOHN LATURNUS SR., went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 12, 2014 at the age of 94 at the Sunny South Lodge in Coaldale, AB.

John was born in Val Marie, SK on October 13, 1919. His family left Saskatchewan when he was a young child and lived in numerous communities before settling in Raymond. In 1946 Dad married Helen Antal and they settled in the Coaldale area where they resided for the rest of their lives.

John is survived by 3 sons; John Jr. (Janice), Don (Alisa), Jim (Karen) all of Coaldale, grandchildren Jason (Debbie) Laturnus, Jeremy Laturnus, Carisa Romans, Jackie (Brendon) Scholten, Paula Chatfield, Kyle Laturnus, Devin (Anamaria) Laturnus, Renae (Robbie) Hale. Great Grandchildren; Jordan and Dylan Laturnus, Aidan and Lauryn Romans, Shaun, Ben, and Natalie Scholten, Garbriella and Gavin Chatfield, Kade and Cooper Hale. Also survived by 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Dad was predeceased by his wife Helen, Mother and Father, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Those that wish may pay their respects prior to the Funeral Service at CORNERTONE FUNERAL HOME, from 12:00 P.M. - 12:45 P.M.

A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME - 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Bob Wallace Officiating.
