JOHN GRANSON

JOHN GRANSON, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the age of 90 years. He will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his three daughters; Annie (Ben) Littau, Hilda (Glen) Seeman, Gerda (Adrian) VanderFluit; six grandchildren, Carol (Marlow) Watts, Kevin (Carmen) Littau, Wade Seeman, Brad (Jakki) Seeman, Joseph and Jaclyn VanderFluit; and six great-grandchildren, Sheldon and Jayden Watts, Sonya and Taylor Littau, Paige Holtom and Madison Seeman; two sisters, Anna Moser of Calgary, AB and Helena Klein of Germany; one brother, Fred (Frieda) Granson of Coaldale, AB and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Esther, three infant children, parents and two brothers Alex and William Granson. John was born on October 16, 1918 in Josefstal, Ukraine and immigrated to Canada with his young family in 1952. He was known and will long be remembered for his unending sense of humour. The family wishes to thank his care givers at both Gardenview Lodge and more recently at Good Samaritans West. A Funeral Service was held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Harold Martin officiating. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. In Memory of John, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
