It is with great sadness that the family of JIM MCCLUNG announce his passing on Saturday, January 19, 2008 after a brief illness. Jim was born January 29, 1928 in Cardston Alberta. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and motorcycles, particularly with friends and family, throughout his life. He travelled Canada and the United States as a youth before marrying his sweetheart, Monte Lou Cahoon and settling down to raise six children, with unconditional love and patience. He was a kind and gentle soul who leaves behind a grieving family and many good friends. Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Monte, his children; Deborah, Dave (Michi) McClung, Laurel (Terry) Mrozowich, Jan (Alvin) Valin, Sandy (Kevin) Sanderson and Ted, grandchildren; Nicole and Robert McClung, Ryan and Tyler Mrozowich, Jamie (Tamara), Marcie and Alan Valin, Chris, Stacy, Kate, Mike, Nick and Jason Sanderson, Kyla, Katie and Kataya McClung and great-grandchild Dexter Cole Valin and his sister Audrey (Gary) Brown. Jim was predeceased by his parents Robert and Effie McClung, brothers Owen and Robert, sisters Lorna, Fanny and Helen and one granddaughter Jennifer May. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share their memories of Jim with the family at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
