Jean was born June 3, 1933, in Huxley, AB.

She was predeceased by her husband James “Jim” Manson Kelly in 1982, brothers Dennis, George, Eddie, and Wayne Howell, sister Esther McPhedran, son Allan Kelly (Oct 2025), grandson James Anderson (Oct 2023), and her son-in-law Tony Derenzo (May 2023).

Jean is survived by her brother Lawrence Howell, son Sheldon (Lori) Kelly, daughters Gloria Derenzo and Darlene Boron, daughter-in-law Jo Ann Kelly, as well as 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2825 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB on Monday, December 1, 2025 1:00 P.M.
