MR. JAMES PAUL ANDRE, beloved husband of Mrs. Edith Andre (nee Pasolli), of Lethbridge passed away at the Park Meadows Good Samaritans on Friday, July 25th, 2008 at the age of 82 years. Jim is survived by his family; Ron Andre (Mary Mate) of Lethbridge, Dora (John) Hepburn of Edmonton, Jo-Anne (Marvin) Schlamp of Grande Prairie, Delores (Harry) Hubbard of Lethbridge, Margaret (Jerry) Jensen of Lethbridge, Eugene (Wendy) Englehart of Lethbridge and Gordon Englehart of Lethbridge; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 5 sisters and 4 brothers and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Kathleen, 2 brothers John and Leslie, granddaughter Shirley and a great grandson Jessie. As a young man, Jim worked with his Dad on the farm in Prud’homme, Saskatchewan, and then moved on to various jobs throughout Canada. In 1961 he commenced work at Canadian Dressed Meats in Lethbridge where he worked for 21 years, retiring in 1982. He married Edith Englehart (nee Pasolli) April 11, 1968. Jim truly loved the outdoors and loved camping and fishing. Woodworking and gardening were his passions. He enjoyed his trips with Edith to Prince Edward Island and Europe. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed. A Prayer Service will be held at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604-13th Street North, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Raul Hernandez, celebrant. Interment at Champion Cemetery will follow a reception at St. Basil’s Catholic Church Hall. Following the interment, there will be a lunch at the Catholic Church in Champion.
