JAKE WALTER

‘Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.’ Psalm 30:5 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jake Walter. Jake passed away with his family by his side, on Friday, September 12th, 2008 at the age of 55 years. Jake leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Judy, his loving children, Tim (Becky Ann), Michael (Lynda), Barbie (Steven), Rosie and Jacob. Also left to remember him are his seven grandchildren whom he adored. He will be greatly missed by his brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Jake was a man with a huge heart for family and friends. He worked for the colony with great pride in all of his doings. Jake was in charge of the dairy, feedlot, range cows and all the little hobbies he had that he enjoyed a lot and was a cowboy at heart. No job was too big or too small for Jake (Dad) to tackle. There was nothing that he would not do for his family. Everyone who knew him will feel the loss of this wonderful man. ‘You did all you could do. It is time to rest. We will always love you, Dad.’ Funeral services will be at the Lomond Hutterian Brethren on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 10:00 A.M.
