It is with heavy hearts that we heard the sad news of the sudden passing of my beloved cousin Jake Waiboer, my brother's eldest son. It is an unimaginable loss and words cannot describe the pain we feel.
It is with deepest regret that we are unable to travel to Canada for the Celebration of Life. The distance makes it impossible for us to be physically present, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We hope that you can find the strength to get through this difficult period and that your memories of him bring you comfort. We will keep Jake in our memories and hearts.
With love and compassion,
Anneleen Waiboer.

I'm heartbroken to hear about Jake's passing. He was more than just a mentor to me—he was a true friend who guided me through the industry and helped shape the person I am today. The lessons he taught me and the memories we shared will stay with me forever. His kindness, wisdom, and laughter made every moment better, and I’ll always be grateful for the time I had with him. My thoughts are with his family and everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Rest in peace, Jake. You will be deeply missed.

I am so sad to hear about Jake. Jake would visit our dealership 3 times a year. My husband and I got to know him very well as we always took him out on the town while he was here. He was kind, funny and always had a smile on his face. He will be missed. Praying for your family and that Jake will rest in peace. -Barb Visser (AIS Construction Equipment)

I was so shocked and saddened to learn of this devastating news. My deepest condolences to Jake’s family and friends. He always spoke so highly of everyone, and I know this loss will be felt deeply. I will miss our texts, long phone calls while he travelled from province to province, but mostly I will miss our friendship. I will always cherish the many memories we made over the last several years. Rest in peace dear friend xo

I came to know Jake through search and rescue and I will miss our deep conversations. Jake was a very important part of our group and his experience was invaluable. He especially like to spoil our search and rescue dogs with treats after training was done for the day, and I am sure that his furry friends will miss this. His kind and gentle nature was evident to anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He will be sorely missed and on behalf of Lethbridge Area Search and Rescue Association please accept our deepest condolences.

I'll never forget the very cold trip we made to Banff a couple of years ago when work brought me to Alberta for a couple of weeks a couple years ago! Jake was always a pleasure to talk with and I'm blessed to have considered him a friend, not just a coworker. Thanks for everything, Jake.

I am so grateful to have gotten to spend time with Jake and the family this fall. I will forever cherish our late night walk frolicking through the park with my dog. Jake was always so kind, considerate and always when you smile when you thought if him. I loved hearing about him through friends and family. Alex and Zac, I am so devastated for your loss. You both reflect the greatest parts of him and it has been so remarkable to see. His legacy will continue to shine through the both of you.
Rest in Peace Jake, we will miss you.

Jake was as loving and generous as it gets. He welcomed me into his family with open arms, and has been like a father to me these past few years. Going to miss our bike rides to dairy queen, our disc golf adventures, and his constant support for everything that his boys and I endeavored to achieve. He was so loved and will forever be missed

Condolences to Zac, Alex, and the entire family.
To Uncle Jake,
As I reflect on my childhood, so many of my fondest memories involve running around the farm with you. Your influence has been a constant in my life, and it’s no exaggeration to say that my passion for motorcycles was sparked by you. That love has shaped many parts of my life in ways I never could have anticipated.
Thank you for being such an incredible uncle. Your impact on me, and on so many others, will never be forgotten. You are deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

My sincere condolences to Jake's family and friends. I loved working with Jake at PFW. He was always funny and kind. My favourite memory was traveling for work and him sweet talking the car rental place to upgrade us to getting a convertible in California to drive to Palm Springs. He was a great travel partner and coworker. I'm so sorry to hear of his loss.

I remember Jake’s first day at PFW all those years ago. He was wearing a suit, and stood out from the rest of us. We joked, he laughed, and that set the stage. We constantly laughed with Jake, he was a great coworker, a great person and a great friend. You are sorely missed my friend.

It was a real shock to learn of Jake's passing. I met and knew Jake through Lethbridge & Area Search and Rescue. As a SAR colleague, Jake was always great to talk to, even if it was a discussion where opinions did not align. That seems to be a rare quality these days. I cannot express enough how much his presence was appreciated when his work schedule allowed him to be at our activities. It was always a good time when there was a social event in LASARA and Jake was there. Thanks Jake for your service to your community and you will be greatly missed.
