Dear Uncle Jack, May Auntie Ione's memory be a blessing. I have know Uncle Jack and Auntie Ione my entire life. She was my Social Studies teacher and my mother's curling & teaching friend from Eastend. Last time we all celebrated Christmas our photo was in the paper and made for an excellent memory.

Dear Jack, and all those who mourn the passing of Ione, I was so saddened to read of Ione’s passing, and cannot imagine the huge void you now endure. They say grief is the price that is paid for having enjoyed love; I am sure your grief is a tsunami. I always enjoyed the classes both of you taught, and Terry and I especially enjoyed our reconnection times at Kimberley. Please know my thoughts are with you at this most difficult time, and in the many painful moments that will follow. Sincerely, Patty Atkinson
