Born in Italy, Ignazio came to Canada in 1952 and spent many years in Lethbridge with his family. He left to find work in Kamloops in 1965 and remained there for the rest of his life.

Ignazio is survived by his two sons, Rossano (Joanne) of Ladysmith, BC, and Ric (Joan) of Victoria, BC, and his daughter, Amanda Sugrue; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A Private Family Prayer Service will take place at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Afterwards, Ignazio will be laid to rest at Royal View Cemetery.
