KENNETH DUANE HUISMAN of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Angela Huisman, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the age of 78 years, after a lengthy battle with his health complications.

Besides Angela, his wife of 36 years, he is lovingly remembered by his sons, Ken (Donna) and Randy (Darcy) and brothers, Harry Dean (Betty) and Brian (Jeri).

Ken was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Georgina Huisman.

Ken was born and raised on the family farm in Foremost, Alberta. He later moved to Monarch where he and his family continued to farm their land. Ken was a hard and dedicated worker and took great pride in whatever he did. Later in his life and into retirement, Ken enjoyed wintering in Mexico and Hawaii and traveled to the Vancouver Island shores for the spring salmon runs; he loved fishing and hunting here with his boys as well as playing crib with anyone who would take him on. You could always find Ken having a great time surrounded by those he loved along with good food and good company.

He will be dearly missed by many for his great sense of humour.
