WILLIAM JOHN "JACK" HUGGINS, the beloved husband of Kathryn Huggins, of Lethbridge, passed away at the age of 76, after a valiant effort for life at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022.
Jack was predeceased by his father, William John Huggins Sr., and his mother, Marjorie Rosaline (Farris) Huggins.
Besides his wife Kathryn (nee Schnitzler) Huggins, he is survived by two sons, Mark (Michelle) of Fort Macleod, AB and Matt (Binh) of Lethbridge, two daughters, Tanya (Brett) McAuley of Red Deer, AB and Allison Mullin of Lethbridge, 11 grandchildren, Olivia, Brad, Ben McAuley; Eden, Jack, Anna Huggins; Noelle, Luc Mullin; Nikayla, Shaun, Kelsea Huggins, four sisters, Marjorie (Gene) Hval of Wilcox, SK, Judy Grad of Harris, SK, Wendy Huggins of Harris, Linda (Shawn) Yuke of Regina, SK.
Born in Regina, he was the eldest of five children. As a teenager, he worked as a bowling-pin setter, paper delivery boy, food vendor at Roughrider's games, groomer of race horses. He was an avid sports fan, athlete & coach. He and Kathy were married on May 20, 1972. Jack loved music, as he played a guitar in several local rock bands. He was a teacher and principal for over 25 years. He was devoted to his family, faith and friends. He had a passion for life and lived each moment to the fullest. It was no problem for him to strike up a conversation with anyone he met and welcomed his children's friends with open arms. His sense of humor was with him until the very end. He also loved antiques as a retirement career and wrote articles for various antique publications.

A private family service will be held.
