RICHARD “RICK” GEORGE HRANAC, August 15, 1957 - December 20, 2011, passed away suddenly of a heart attack on the family farm at the age of 54 years. He was the beloved son of Mary and the late Fred Hranac. He is also survived by his brother, Garry (Rita), sisters, Bev (Darin) and Christine Ehnes, as well as nieces & nephews, aunts and cousins. Besides his father, Rick was predeceased by his brother-in-law Brian Ehnes, as well as other family members within the Hranac’s, Powell’s and Hazuda’s. Rick was born and raised in Coaldale and spent his life farming on the family farm. He enjoyed many sports including hockey, snow skiing, water skiing, fishing and golf, and at the end of the activity, a brew with his buddies. He was a good guy with a generous spirit. He will be missed. A private family service will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Cremation with interment to be held at a later date.
