With thankful hearts for the joy of sharing her life, the family announces the passing of our mother and grandmother, DOROTHY HRABIC. Dorothy leaves behind precious memories with those who knew and loved her. Mourning her loss and cherishing memories of her kind and gentle spirit are her daughters Judy (Murray) and Lorna (Ed). She will continue to live forever in the hearts of her three grandchildren; Travis (Debbie), Jennifer (Steve) and Alissa (Evan) who always brought a smile to her face. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lillianne as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Michael, parents Dennis and Katerina, sister Rose and brother Nick. Dorothy was born in Hardieville, Alberta on July 3, 1923. After her marriage to Michael in 1945 they moved to Toronto due to his Air Force posting. They settled in Lethbridge when the war ended. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation for the compassionate care given by Dr. David Stewart, the nurses on Unit 4B and the staff at St. Therese Villa (2E). A Service of Remembrance will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Brenda Kersell officiating.
