CHRISTOPHER "CHRIS" MARKUS HIETAMAA, beloved husband of Erin Hietamaa, passed away peacefully in Magrath, with his parents by his side, on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the age of 46 years.
CHRISTOPHER "CHRIS" MARKUS HIETAMAA, beloved husband of Erin Hietamaa, passed away peacefully in Magrath, with his parents by his side, on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the age of 46 years.
Besides his loving wife Erin, Chris is survived by his daughters Senya and Emi, step-daughter Aria, parents Tab and Cindy, sister Nicole (Buddy), nephew Aidan, niece Brinly, aunt Sharon, uncle Dave, aunt Maija and uncle Jorma and many cousins as well as parents-in-law Cathy and David Pryce, sister-in-law Laura (John) and his nieces.
Chris was born in Windsor, Ontario on April 20, 1976. He had a great passion for the outdoors, and loved to fish, hunt, and be around his family and friends.
Chris fought a good battle in the last year against Frontotemporal Dementia.
He will be missed terribly by his family and friends and will be greatly remembered for his kindness and the passionate love he had for his family. We will always remember your wonderful smile, willingness to give and your joy for life.
A Celebration of Chris' Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.

My condolences to you David and your family. It's been many years since I last spoke with Linda, but I have many fond memories of our youth, growing up as neighbors on the farm east of Coutts. May she Rest In Peace. Allen Herbst
I am so very sorry for your loss and I am saddened to know that Chris has passed away. He was such an amazing man, always smiling and very positive. I am sure he will be greatly missed. Take care in knowing he is now at peace.
