Mr. LEN HERRING, beloved husband of Mrs. Bev Herring of Lethbridge, passed away at home at the age of 76 years, after a 15 month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Len loved to travel and had winter stays in Phoenix and Hawaii with many cruises and trips to Las Vegas. Some of his favorites were the safari to Africa and a cruise around the world.
Len was always active and loved to bike. Cruises were often selected on the availability of bikes on the ship. He often biked from his home in Paradise Canyon to the YMCA downtown to workout. He hiked rim to rim of the Grand Canyon and ran in marathons. Len was a big supporter of the YMCA. Len golfed at the Country Club and had his hole in one on #16.
Len was predeceased by his parents Albert & Mary Herring.
He is lovingly remembered by his family and many friends.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. For those attending, masks are required. The service will be live streamed and may be accessed via Len's obituary on the Cornerstone website.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Strong Kids c/o YMCA of Lethbridge, #140, 74 Mauretania Road West, Lethbridge, AB T1J 5L4.
