HENRY LINDSTEDT

Henry, beloved husband and best friend of Earlene for 53 years, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 13, 2008, at the age of 79 years. He is lovingly remembered by his two daughters Cathy Newman (Vic) of Lethbridge, Janis (Bill) Greschuk of Calgary, and cherished grandchildren Jeremy and Jodi Newman, and Melanie and Christopher Greschuk. Henry is also survived by two sisters Helen West and Dagne (Stan) Maertz, two sister-in-laws Marj Marks and Bea Thomson, two brother-in-laws Dr. Charles (Ruth) Anderson, Wally Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, two sister-in-laws, and three brother-in-laws. Henry was born (December 10, 1928) and raised in Lomond, where he and Earlene farmed until 1969. They settled in Nobleford in 1973 where Henry worked in construction, served as a village counselor and mayor, and was actively involved in the community. They moved to Lethbridge in July 2006. Memorial Service on Thursday, September 18th, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., Park Meadows Baptist Church, 2011 - 15 Avenue N, Lethbridge. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, donations in Henry’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Michael’s Health Centre (Palliative Care Unit), Lethbridge.
