Besides her husband, Ben, two weeks short of 67 years, Henny is survived by her children: son Colin (Margaret) and grandson Eric (Michelle) and great-grandchildren: Owen, Kealon, Dawson, Paisley and Nevaeh, granddaughter Andrea (Matt) Vander Ark and great-grandchildren: Kaia, Jaxon and Quinn, granddaughter Kendra (Jaimin) VandenDungen and great-grandchildren: Easton, Harper, Everleigh and Olivia, and grandson Josh (Brittany) and great-grandchild, Lennon; son Lloyd (MaryEllen) and grandson Jess (Katherine) and great-grandchildren: Lauren, Olivia and Maeryn, and granddaughter, Shelby; son Rex (Romina) and grandson Alex (Alexa) and great-grandchildren: Kassian and Aurelia, grandson Ryan (Liz) and great-grandchildren: Austin and Elliott; and daughter Michele (Brian) Kondor and grandchildren Nikolas, Derrick and Rachel. Henny is also survived by her three brothers: Simon (Hennie) Leenstra, Andy (Margaret) Leenstra and Bill (Karen) Leenstra; two sisters, Pearl Tjepkema and Tina (Gerald) Oevering; and in-laws: Ida Leenstra, Gwen Leenstra, Tina Leenstra, Jenny DeWolde, George Senneker, John Senneker, Henry (Sharon) Senneker and Lou Keegstra.

She was predeceased by two grandsons, Jordan and Bryce; parents, Fred & Edith Leenstra; in-laws, Dirk and Helen Senneker; brothers: Thomas, Fred, Ray and Henry; in-laws, Jake Tjepkema, Deanna Leenstra, Ralph DeWolde, Jean Senneker, Ann Senneker, Jan and Ruth Senneker and Audrey Keegstra.

Henny was born in Heeg, The Netherlands, November 16, 1933 and emigrated to Canada with her whole family at Pier 21, Halifax, in April 1950, then traveled by train to Lethbridge, and then Iron Springs for beet season. In 1952, she moved with her family to Vauxhall and there, she married Ben Senneker on October 24, 1957. In 1999, Henny and Ben moved to Lethbridge.

A Viewing will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

A Graveside Service will be held at ROYAL VIEW CEMETERY, 5920 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 11:00 A.M.

A Memorial Service will be held at TRINITY REFORMED CHURCH, 1100 – 40 Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Michael Wall officiating. The Memorial Service will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Henny’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.
