Mom was born on April 27, 1924 in Harsany, Hungary. She was a very loving and caring woman you could talk to about anything. She was very good at baking, especially making cookies and a variety of pastries. She also canned a lot.

Thank you to Cyndi for all of her care for Gammie, and to all the ladies that cared for Mom and all they did for her.

As per Helen’s request, a private Graveside Service to be held at a later date.

In loving memory of our dear mother, grandma and great-grandma. We’ll miss you so Mom! You are the best!

I was so saddened to hear about your passing. You will surely be missed by all who knew you. All of my memories of you are positive. I can hear the sound of your giggling and the way your voice would have this upward inflection when you got excited or found something funny. My favourite memories are when you let your mischievous side show! I often thought while you were alive, how ahead of the times you really were as I recall you saying that you felt that you were born far too early. I would agree. Your eye for fashion and guilty pleasures of Keeping up with the Kardashians were evident of this. You faced so many of life's challenges after immigrating at a young age, marrying young and raising a large family - during times that women weren't often asked about their dreams. The love you showed for your children, all of your grandchildren and an interest in what they were doing, as well as your great grandchildren was without discrimination. You always had a room ready for them to play for when they came to visit. You were progressive and had an open mind - likely born out of the genuine curiosity you had for life and empathy displayed in all that you did. Either way, you made such an impact on our lives and you will forever be remembered as you were: a joyful, loving, mischievous in a good way, empathetic, fun-loving, amazing woman of her time - or any time thereafter. Love Always.
