ELLA RUTH HECK passed away at Fairmont Extendicare on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the age of 89 years.
ELLA RUTH HECK passed away at Fairmont Extendicare on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the age of 89 years.
Ella is survived by her sister Caroline (Robert) Comstock, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and families.
Ella was predeceased by her parents Flora and Joseph Heck, sister Marie (Frank) Liski and brother Henry (Mary) Heck.
Ella was born September 21, 1930 in Regina. She went to England to study singing in her late teens, and returned to Canada to work with the Musical Theatre in Winnipeg for several years. She moved to Toronto and worked as a legal secretary. She always welcomed her nieces and nephews for visits so she could teach them "couth and culture". After she retired, Ella went RVing and had many adventures that often terrified her family. She moved to Lethbridge so she could be close to her family.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 - 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 12:00 Noon with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating.
