RAYMOND GUY HARRIS, beloved husband of the late Mary Harris, of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael's, Palliative Care, on Saturday, January 16, 2016, due to complications following a long and determined battle with cancer.

He is the loving father of Amy Harris of Bellevue, AB and Tammy (Jason) Ruff of Lethbridge, AB. and cherished grandfather to Braden and Devin. He is also survived by four brothers and sisters: Norma Boxberger, Glenn (Wendy) Harris, Tim Harris and Alice (Wayne) Romanchuk as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ray also leaves to mourn Mary's family: Margaret (Bob) Hauck, Frank (Mary) Grigel and Joe (Darlene) Grigel and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife Mary, Ray was predeceased by infant sons Bradley and Tyler, his parents Arlo and Mabel and one brother Oliver.

Ray will be remembered for his wit, unique sense of humor and for his colorful stories. He had much grace and dignity as he faced his health challenges. Ray's concern for others overshadowed his own issues. He made friends wherever he went. His favorite pastimes included hunting, his daily walks, gardening, socializing and his love for animals.

He will be sadly missed.

A private Celebration of Life for Ray and Mary for family and friends will be held at a later date.
