MR. HARMEN VAN DER LEE, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 24th, 2013 at the age of 66 years. He is the loving father of Karen van der Lee of Calgary, Diane (Shawn) Henderson of Lethbridge and the proud grandfather of Alisha & Jayden Henderson and Therin & Delaney Mody. He is also survived by his father Harmen van der Lee Sr. and brothers and sisters Richard (Maria) van der Lee; Edith (Fred) Wolbert; Christopher (Hanna) van der Lee; Valerie (Raeburn) Temple; Peter (Joyce) van der Lee; Joan (Mike) Bley; Harriet Taylor; Greg van der Lee and the Bird family, many nieces and nephews as well as many extended family members. He was predeceased by his loving mother Christine van der Lee. Harmen's first love and devotion was to God, as well his unconditional love he had for his family. A Prayer Vigil will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Sunday, December 29th, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 - 12th Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB. on Monday, December 30th, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Father Nathan Siray celebrating.
