DENISE DIANNE HANSEN of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the young age of 65 years.

She was the loving mother of: son Jeff (Shannon) Hansen and their children, Brandon, Delaney, Savannah and Ada of Dillon, Montana, USA; son Jay (Connie) Hansen and their children Payton and Brody of Lethbridge, Alberta and daughter Lesley Hansen and her children Taylor and Aidan of Lethbridge, Alberta.

She is also survived by her brother Martin (Wanda) Snedden, sister-in-law Marilyn Snedden as well as nieces, nephews and numerous relatives in the United Kingdom.

Denise was predeceased by her brother Peter (1976), mother Ada (1983) and her father Leslie (2006).

Denise (Nana) found fulfillment surrounded by her children and grandkids. She treasured her special friends, especially Marilyn and Pat. Throughout her life she found joy in “doting” on her dogs. Nana’s favourite things were traveling to warm destinations, lunching with friends, finding a good clearance rack when shopping, enjoying an evening of good television programs and supporting her grandkids’ numerous activities.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the St. Michael’s Palliative Team.

Mumma / Nana, you will be dearly missed.

No funeral service will be held.
