HAMILTON, WILLIAM CHARLES

WILLIAM “BILL” CHARLES HAMILTON, beloved husband of Verda Hamilton of Lethbridge, fought a brave battle against Cancer. He succumbed in his sleep on Monday, January 16th, 2012 with his family at his side at the age of 76 years. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Gordon & Eveline and by a sister-in-law Shirley Hamilton. Besides his loving wife Verda, he is survived by one son, Tim; one daughter, Malinda (Arnie) Bergen-Henengouwen; three grandchildren, A.J., Todd and Carlee Bergen-Henengouwen; six brothers, Bob (Deanna), Don (Faye), Pat (Carol), Greg, Brent (Brenda), Jerry (Liz); two sisters, Nan (Dave) Iwaskiw and Lori (Kelly) Kaminski; two brothers-in-law, Lamont (Lisa) Harker and Jerry (Anne) Harker. Bill was a truck driver for many years and met many people. He was involved in many things, coaching softball, the Hockey Hounds, Nord-Bridge Senior Centre and an avid golfer and member of the Picture Butte Golf Course. Bill was a faithful supporter and attendee at all his grandkids sports endeavors. A Service of Remembrance will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 - Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Thursday, January 19th, 2012 at 11 am., with Rev. Trevor Potter officiating. Cremation, with a private interment at a later date. In memory of Bill, contributions may be made to the Nord-Bridge Senior’s Centre, 1904 - 13 Ave. N., Lethbridge, Alberta. T1H 4W9
